    Aperture Value shooting mode, often also called Aperture Priority, gives you direct access to what aperture you want to use when shooting. In Program, Full Auto and the various scene modes, the camera makes a best guess at the right combination of aperture and shutter speed for a correct exposure, while also aiming to deliver a sufficiently fast shutter speed to avoid camera shake or motion blur. It works well most of the time but, when you want to get more creative with selective aperture settings, it’s best to switch to Av mode.
